About Neauvia Stimulate

Neauvia Stimulate is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel that combines two effects: it gives some immediate support where the face has lost volume, and it contains a small amount of calcium hydroxyapatite, a mineral that may help the skin make new collagen over time. It also contains the amino acids glycine and proline. It is used for lost volume in the cheeks and mid-face, including after weight loss, and for skin that has softened and lost its support.

Your Stimulate treatment is planned by Dr Shivani Malhotra, a practising GP who leads our skin and regenerative medicine, and carried out at our practice on Midland Drive, Royal Sutton Coldfield. A face can look tired or hollow because of lost fat, bone changes, loose skin or recent weight loss, and each needs something different, so a doctor works out which before recommending anything. You leave your consultation with a written treatment plan with clear pricing.

“Collagen stimulators work with your own biology, so I plan them over months, not one appointment. The result is quieter and it lasts.”

Suitability

Is Neauvia Stimulate Right for You?

Likely a good fit if you:

  • have mild to moderate volume loss in the cheeks or mid-face
  • want a subtle result, with some support now and more gradually
  • would like a hyaluronic acid treatment that also works on skin quality

Probably not the right first step if you:

  • mainly have loose skin rather than lost volume, where Sectum Radiofrequency or AI Endolaser may suit you better
  • want a precise change in shape, such as the lips or chin, where classic dermal fillers may be the better tool
  • are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an active skin infection

Not sure which side you are on? That is exactly what the consultation is for.

Your journey

From First Conversation to Follow-Up

Four simple steps, with the same doctor-led care from your first message to your follow-up.

01

Tell us what is bothering you

Request an appointment online or get in touch, and tell us what has changed in your face.

02

See a doctor from the start

A GP examines your face at rest and in movement, takes your full history including any medicines, and works out whether volume, skin or both have changed. You leave with a written treatment plan with clear pricing.

03

Your treatment

The area is cleansed and numbed, and the gel is placed deep beneath the skin with a fine needle or a blunt cannula. It takes 30 to 45 minutes, and most people feel pressure rather than pain.

04

We follow you up

Written aftercare and a named contact go home with you. We see you at two to four weeks to review the result and again at three months, against your starting photographs.

Why a Doctor Plans Your Neauvia Stimulate

Stimulate at Aarva is planned by Dr Shivani Malhotra, GP, who leads skin and regenerative medicine and has trained with Neauvia. Every treatment is planned and overseen by a doctor.

Stimulate is placed deeper than a skin booster, beneath the skin or close to the bone, in areas with important blood vessels and nerves. Knowing that anatomy, using a cannula where it suits and going slowly are how we keep the risk low. We aim to restore support, not to change who you are, and we will often do less than you expect. Because we are GPs, we also ask why your face has changed, including recent weight loss, and whether weight-loss medicines are part of the picture.

Stimulate can sit alongside dermal fillers for precise shape, Profhilo for skin hydration and Sectum Radiofrequency for firmness. We will tell you which we would choose for you.

FAQs

Questions Patients Ask About Neauvia Stimulate

Cannot see your question? Our doctors are happy to talk it through at your consultation.

Stimulate is a hyaluronic acid gel, cross-linked to hold its shape, that gives some immediate support where it is placed. It also contains a small amount of calcium hydroxyapatite, which laboratory research suggests can encourage collagen production, plus the amino acids glycine and proline. The aim is support now, with the skin’s own collagen building over the following months.

Stimulate is used to restore mild to moderate volume loss in the face, most often the cheeks and mid-face, including after weight loss, and to support skin that has softened with age. It is less suited to fine, precise work such as the lips.

Yes, it is a hyaluronic acid filler, but it is designed to do more than fill. The calcium hydroxyapatite is included to support collagen, which is why it sits between a classic filler and a pure collagen stimulator.

It suits many adults with mild to moderate volume loss who want a subtle, gradual result. It is not for use in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, near an active infection or cold sore, or if you are allergic to any ingredient. If you have an autoimmune condition, take medicines that thin the blood or have had other fillers in the area, we discuss it at consultation.

Swelling, bruising, tenderness and firmness in the treated area are expected and settle over days. Less commonly, there can be lumps, infection or a delayed reaction weeks later. Rarely, a filler can block a blood vessel, which needs urgent treatment and can, very rarely, affect the skin or eyesight. Your doctor explains each of these before you agree to treatment.

The area is numbed first. You may feel pressure and some tenderness as the gel is placed, and the area can be sore for a few days.

Most people return to work the next day. Swelling and bruising can last a few days, so avoid planning photographs or big events for about two weeks. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and facial massage for a couple of days.

Usually one. Sometimes we add a small top-up at your review a few weeks later, once swelling has settled. The plan you take home says which is likely for you.

Some support shows straight away and settles over about two weeks. Any collagen-related improvement builds over the following months. How long results last varies with the area and the person, and we review you to plan any maintenance.

The hyaluronic acid gel can usually be dissolved if needed. We still plan carefully and often start with less, because it is easier to add than to take away.

Stimulate is offered at our Midland Drive practice in Royal Sutton Coldfield, for patients across Four Oaks, Walmley, Erdington, Lichfield, Tamworth and north Birmingham. Parking is available nearby.

Stimulate at Aarva is priced individually, with course pricing where it helps. The final price depends on how much product your plan needs, and you receive it in writing at your consultation before you commit to anything.

Come With the Problem, Not the Treatment

You do not need to know whether Stimulate, filler or something else is the answer. Tell a doctor what has changed, and you will leave knowing whether it is volume, skin or both, and what we would suggest.
