About LaserMe
LaserMe is a non-ablative fractional laser that improves skin quality, tone and texture while leaving the surface of the skin intact. Using a 1470 nm diode laser, it places microscopic columns of energy into the skin to stimulate collagen renewal, helping to soften fine lines, crepey skin, acne scars, stretch marks, enlarged pores and sun damage on the face and body.
LaserMe at Aarva is planned by Dr Shivani Malhotra, a practising GP who leads our skin and regenerative medicine, and delivered in our practice on Midland Drive, Royal Sutton Coldfield. It is the laser we reach for when someone wants their skin to look better and cannot take a week off to get there. You leave your consultation with a written treatment plan with clear pricing for the whole course.
“LaserMe is what I suggest when someone wants their skin to look rested rather than treated. Small, regular sessions do more than one big one.”
Is LaserMe Right for You?
Likely a good fit if you:
- want smoother, fresher skin without time off work
- have fine lines, crepey skin, mild acne scarring, pink stretch marks or sun damage
- are happy to build results over a course of three to five sessions
Probably not the right first step if you:
- have deep acne scars and can take a few days off, where UltraClear may do more in fewer sessions
- are pregnant, have a tan, or have active cold sores
- mainly want to lift loose skin, where Sectum Radiofrequency may suit you better
Not sure which side you are on? That is exactly what the consultation is for.
Our Promise to You
The standards every Aarva patient can expect, whatever they come in for.
- You see a doctor before any treatment is planned.
- You get a written treatment plan to take away, with clear pricing, so you can go ahead on the day or decide in your own time.
- We will tell you if LaserMe will not help, even if that means no treatment at all.
- If something does not feel right afterwards, a doctor sees you.
- Your consultation is time with a doctor, set aside just for you.

From First Conversation to Follow-Up
Four simple steps, with the same doctor-led care from your first message to your follow-up.
Tell us what is bothering you
Request an appointment online or get in touch. You can describe it in a sentence, or save it for the room.
See a doctor from the start
A GP takes your history, examines your skin and explains what a course of LaserMe can realistically change. You leave with a written treatment plan with clear pricing.
Your treatment
Your skin is numbed and treated in 20 to 40 minutes. If a skin booster is part of your plan, it goes on straight afterwards, while the skin takes it up most readily.
We follow you up
Written aftercare and a named person to call. Sessions are three to four weeks apart, and we review your skin at each one against your starting photographs.
Why a Doctor Plans Your LaserMe
LaserMe at Aarva is planned by Dr Shivani Malhotra, GP, who leads skin and regenerative medicine and has trained with Neauvia, the company behind LaserMe. Every treatment is planned and overseen by a doctor.
Because LaserMe keeps the skin surface intact, each session is gentle and the results come from the course. We adjust how dense and how deep each treatment is for your skin, and can treat the face, eyes, neck, chest, hands and body.
LaserMe works especially well alongside a skin booster in the same visit. We pair it with Neauvia Hydro Deluxe for dry or dull skin, polynucleotides for thin or crepey skin around the eyes, and Sectum Radiofrequency where firmness is also a concern. If you have deeper scarring and can take a few days off, UltraClear may be the better fit, and we will tell you which we would choose for you.

Questions Patients Ask About LaserMe
Cannot see your question? Our doctors are happy to talk it through at your consultation.
LaserMe uses a 1470 nm diode laser to create microscopic columns of heat just beneath the skin, with healthy skin left between them. The surface stays intact, and as the skin repairs each column it produces new collagen and elastin. Over a course, that shows as smoother texture, softer lines and a more even tone.
LaserMe is used for fine lines, crepey skin, rough texture, enlarged pores, mild to moderate acne scarring, stretch marks, scars and sun damage. It can be used on the face, around the eyes, on the neck and chest, and on the body.
LaserMe is non-ablative, so it keeps the surface intact, needs almost no downtime and works over a course of sessions. UltraClear resurfaces the skin, so it can make a bigger change in fewer sessions but needs more recovery. Some plans use both at different stages.
It suits people who want steady improvement in skin quality without time off. It is not suitable during pregnancy, with an active skin infection or cold sore, with a recent tan, or if you tend to form raised (keloid) scars. We discuss timing if you have taken oral acne medication in the last six months.
Often, yes, with settings adjusted for your skin. Any laser carries some risk of temporary darkening in darker skin tones, so we may suggest a test patch first.
Redness, mild swelling, warmth and a rough feel to the skin for a few days are expected. Less commonly, the skin can darken temporarily, cold sores can flare, or small crusts can form. Lasting colour change, blistering and scarring are rare.
With numbing cream, most people find it comfortable. It feels warm and prickly while the laser moves across the skin.
Very little. Expect a day or two of pinkness and a few days of slightly rough skin. Most people are back at work the next day, and make-up is usually fine after 24 hours. Wear SPF 50 daily throughout your course.
Usually three to five, three to four weeks apart. Scars and stretch marks may need more. Many people then return once or twice a year to maintain the result.
Skin looks fresher about a week after each session. The main change builds across the course and for around three months after the last session, as new collagen matures.
It can soften their texture and colour, particularly while they are still pink or red. Older white stretch marks improve less, and we will be honest about what to expect.
LaserMe is available at Aarva on Midland Drive, Royal Sutton Coldfield, a short drive from Four Oaks, Walmley, Erdington, Lichfield, Tamworth and north Birmingham. Parking is available nearby.
LaserMe at Aarva is priced individually, with course pricing where it helps. A skin booster added in the same visit is priced separately. You receive the full price in writing at your consultation before you commit. LaserMe also earns points in the Aarva Circle.
Come With the Problem, Not the Treatment
