Neauvia Hydro Deluxe at AARVA
Better-hydrated, fresher-looking skin on the face and neck, often in the same visit as LaserMe
About Neauvia Hydro Deluxe
Neauvia Hydro Deluxe is an injectable skin booster that places a light hyaluronic acid gel into the skin to improve hydration, tone and texture. Alongside the hyaluronic acid, it contains the amino acids glycine and proline and a small amount of calcium hydroxyapatite, a mineral also used in collagen-stimulating fillers. It is used for dry, dehydrated skin, dull, uneven skin and enlarged pores and a tired-looking neck, and is made by Neauvia, the company behind LaserMe and Sectum.
At Aarva, Dr Shivani Malhotra, a practising GP who leads our skin and regenerative medicine, plans each Hydro Deluxe course, and treatment happens at our practice on Midland Drive, Royal Sutton Coldfield. Dry, dull skin can come from barrier problems, eczema, hormones, medicines or simply the wrong skincare, so a doctor looks at why before anything is injected. You leave your consultation with a written treatment plan with clear pricing for the whole course.
“Hydration is the part of skin quality people forget. When skin holds water well, everything else we do for it works better.”
Is Neauvia Hydro Deluxe Right for You?
Likely a good fit if you:
- have skin that looks dull, dry or tired, or feels tight
- are planning LaserMe and want to treat hydration at the same time
- want fresher skin without any change to your features
Probably not the right first step if you:
- have lost volume or firmness, where Profhilo or Sectum Radiofrequency may do more
- have active acne or eczema that needs treating first
- are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an active skin infection
Not sure which side you are on? That is exactly what the consultation is for.

From First Conversation to Follow-Up
Four simple steps, with the same doctor-led care from your first message to your follow-up.
Tell us what is bothering you
Request an appointment online or get in touch. Skin that feels tight or looks flat is enough to start with, or you can tell us in person.
See a doctor from the start
A GP takes your history, examines your skin and talks you through what a Hydro Deluxe course is likely to change, and what it will not. You leave with a written treatment plan and clear pricing.
Your treatment
Your skin is cleansed and numbed, and the gel is placed through small, shallow injections. It takes 20 to 30 minutes. If LaserMe is part of your plan, both are usually done in the same visit.
We follow you up
Aftercare instructions come in writing, with a named person to contact. At each session we compare your skin with your starting photographs.
Why a Doctor Plans Your Hydro Deluxe
Hydro Deluxe at Aarva is planned by Dr Shivani Malhotra, GP, who leads skin and regenerative medicine and has trained with Neauvia. Every treatment is planned and overseen by a doctor.
Hydro Deluxe is a light, non-cross-linked gel placed in the upper layers of the skin, so the body breaks it down within weeks. That makes it a skin quality treatment, not a filler: the results come from a short course and regular maintenance. We decide where it goes and how much to use, and can treat the face and neck. Because we are GPs, we also look at what is drying your skin in the first place, from eczema and menopause to medicines.
Hydro Deluxe is most often paired with LaserMe in the same visit, with the laser working on texture and the booster on hydration. It can also sit alongside Profhilo for firmness across the face and neck, Sunekos or polynucleotides for the skin under the eyes, and Sectum Radiofrequency where skin has softened.

Questions Patients Ask About Neauvia Hydro Deluxe
Cannot see your question? Our doctors are happy to talk it through at your consultation.
Hydro Deluxe places a light hyaluronic acid gel into the upper layers of the skin, where it draws in water and improves hydration. It also contains glycine and proline, amino acids the skin uses to build collagen, and a small amount of calcium hydroxyapatite, which Neauvia includes to support the skin’s own collagen production. The gel is broken down within weeks, so the benefit builds over a course.
Hydro Deluxe is used for dry or dehydrated skin, a dull or tired look, uneven texture, enlarged pores and early fine lines on the face and neck. It improves skin quality rather than adding volume, so it will not fill deep lines or hollows.
It suits many adults whose skin looks dull or feels dry despite a good routine. We would not treat you while pregnant or breastfeeding, over an active infection or cold sore, or if you are allergic to anything in it. An autoimmune condition or blood-thinning medicine needs a conversation first, which we have at consultation.
Yes, and many people do. Neauvia designs its treatments to be combined, and pairing them means one visit and one recovery. LaserMe works on texture, lines and tone, while Hydro Deluxe works on hydration. Your plan sets out the order and timing.
The booster on its own is an injection, with no heat or light, so skin tone is rarely an issue. When it is paired with LaserMe, the laser is the part we adjust for darker skin. A bruise can occasionally leave a temporary mark, which usually fades.
Because the gel goes in at many shallow points, small bumps and some redness are normal for a day or two. Bruising and tenderness are common and brief. Infection, lumps and product reactions are less common. As with any facial injection, a blocked blood vessel is a very rare risk that needs urgent treatment. Your doctor covers each of these before you consent.
Numbing cream goes on first. After that, people usually describe a series of quick, shallow pricks.
Not much. Most people are back at work the next day while the bumps settle. Leave make-up off until the following morning, and skip hard exercise and saunas for a day or two. With LaserMe in the same visit, add a day or two of pinkness.
Usually a course of three sessions, a few weeks apart, then maintenance every few months. If you are having LaserMe, the sessions are often timed to match. We write the schedule into your plan.
Skin often looks fresher and more hydrated within a week or two of the first session. The fuller improvement builds across the course, and regular maintenance keeps it going.
Both are hyaluronic acid treatments that improve skin quality rather than adding volume. Hydro Deluxe is a lighter gel with amino acids and calcium hydroxyapatite, placed in many small points and often paired with laser. Profhilo uses a more concentrated hyaluronic acid placed at a few points, aimed more at firmness. We will tell you which suits your skin.
Hydro Deluxe is given at our practice on Midland Drive in Royal Sutton Coldfield, not far from Four Oaks, Walmley, Erdington, Lichfield, Tamworth and north Birmingham. Parking is available nearby.
Hydro Deluxe at Aarva is priced individually, with course pricing where it helps. When added to LaserMe in the same visit, it is priced separately. You receive the full price in writing at your consultation before you commit to anything.
Come With the Problem, Not the Treatment
You do not need to know whether a skin booster, a laser or something else is the answer. Tell a doctor what is bothering you, and you will leave with an honest view of what will help, and what will not.
